Our Resident Neuters
Donnie
Donnie holds a very special place in our hearts here at Townhill. He was the very first Maine Coon to join our home, and in many ways, everything began with him.
Donnie was always a pet — never part of a breeding programme — and when we discovered he had been born with a heart defect, it had a huge impact on us. It made us want to learn more about health, genetics and doing things properly, and it shaped the way Townhill was built from the very beginning.
He’s now neutered and living his best life as one of the boys of the house, still just as affectionate and involved as ever. Donnie is the reason health and welfare sit at the heart of everything we do.

Farah
Retired January 2026
Farah is our beautiful midnight girl and she is never quiet. She’s incredibly chatty and always has something to say, especially if she’s curled up beside you on the sofa with the stove on and the room nice and warm. She absolutely loves her treats (ham is her favourite), and those eyes of hers stop people in their tracks.
She has the sweetest bond with our neutered boy Donnie — the two of them are inseparable. Wherever Donnie goes, Farah follows, chatting away the whole time. She shows her affection by always being close and by talking to you constantly and making cookies, it’s part of what makes her so special.
