Publishing The Maine Coon Mind — July 2026
Publishing The Maine Coon Mind was a very special milestone for me.
The book brings together what I have learned through living with, breeding and studying Maine Coons, with a focus on their behaviour, care and unique personalities.
Inside, you'll find practical guidance on understanding Maine Coon behaviour, body language, communication, enrichment, common behaviours, and building a strong bond with your cat. It is written for both new and experienced Maine Coon owners in an easy-to-follow, down-to-earth style.
I wrote it simply to help owners understand their cats a little better and to share some of the knowledge I have gained along the way.

Some moments are hard to put into words.
To be named Registered Cat Breeder of the Year for the second year in a row is something I will never stop being grateful for. Breeding is not just kittens and beautiful photos. It is sleepless nights, constant learning, difficult decisions, heartbreak, hope, and giving every part of yourself to do things properly.
This award means so much because it recognises the love, care and dedication that goes on quietly behind the scenes every single day.
And this year, to also win Pet Product of the Year for Regal Instinx, something we have built from the ground up, feels incredibly special. What started as an idea to help breeders become more organised, transparent and confident has grown into something real — something that can genuinely make a difference.
These awards are not just achievements. They are reminders of why we do what we do.
For the cats.
For the kittens.
For the families.
For better breeding.

A year later… and somehow we’re here again - 2026
After winning Registered Cat Breeder of the Year at the National Pet Awards last year, Townhill Maine Coons has officially been named a finalist again for 2026.
To be recognised once was incredible.
To be recognised again honestly means even more.
This has never just been about breeding cats for us. It’s the sleepless nights, the worry, the learning, the love, the families who trust us, and the tiny lives raised inside our home every single day.
Thank you to everybody who continues to support our journey, follow along, recommend us, trust us with your babies, and cheer us on quietly in the background 🤍

Nevada’s Motherhood Journey Begins - May 2026
A truly special milestone for our programme.
After months of careful planning and excited anticipation, Nevada welcomed her very first litter into the world safely and naturally. Watching her become a mother has been incredibly rewarding, calm, attentive, affectionate, and completely devoted to her babies from the very beginning.
First litters always hold a special place in a breeder’s heart, and this one is no different. Tiny paws, sleepy squeaks, and a very proud mammy cat have officially filled the nursery.

A Little Adventure with Katniss -
April 2026🐾⛺
This was a special milestone for us, Townhill Katniss, Girl on Fire’s, very first camping trip.
For many cats, something like this would feel overwhelming. New sounds, new smells, a completely different environment… but Katniss took it all in her stride. Calm, curious, and quietly confident, just as we would expect from a Townhill kitten.
From chasing flies inside the tent to waking gently with the sound of the birds, she embraced every part of the experience. Watching her explore, adapt, and settle so naturally was a real reminder of just how important those early foundations are.
At Townhill, our kittens are raised to feel secure in themselves, not just within four walls, but in the world around them. That confidence doesn’t happen by chance; it’s built day by day through handling, environment, and trust.
Moments like this are what it’s all about.
Seeing them grow… not just bigger, but braver.
The Software I Needed Didn’t Exist — So I built It...
After almost a year of building, refining, and shaping every detail, Regal Instinx Pro is now entering live trials with breeders across the globe. Created from real, hands-on experience, this platform was born from the need for something better — a system that truly understands the day-to-day reality of breeding. Seeing it now move beyond Townhill and into the hands of breeders worldwide is a moment we’re incredibly proud of.

Sometimes breeding isn’t about finding new homes.
Sometimes, it’s about knowing when one is already home.
Not every kitten is meant to leave. From the moment Katniss could walk, she was drawn to my husband, and he to her. She watches him, follows him, and listens to him in a way she doesn’t with anyone else, and he understands her just as instinctively. Their connection has grown quietly and naturally, built on trust, recognition, and choice.
Breeding isn’t always about waiting lists or plans on paper. It’s about responsibility, ethics, and truly listening to what our cats show us.
Townhill Katniss Girl on Fire will be staying with us, exactly where she belongs.

We are incredibly proud to announce that Nevada has now achieved her GCCF Champion title ✨
