Meet Farah – A Very Special Girl Looking for Her Forever Home
Our beautiful Farah is looking for a very special home. This is a decision we've made with incredibly heavy hearts, as Farah has been a much-loved member of our family for 4 years, and we never imagined we'd be looking for a new home for her.
Farah is a wonderfully affectionate, confident little character in familiar surroundings. She loves nothing more than joining us for a film, curling up in her favourite chair, making biscuits on our blankets or following us around the house. Once she decides you're her person, she really does give you her whole heart.
A Little About Farah
-
Personality: Loving, affectionate, curious and full of character. She can be cautious with unexpected noises or unfamiliar situations, but she's wonderfully relaxed with the people she knows.
-
Her favourite things: Cosy blankets, watching films with her humans, following you around the house, ham and cooked chicken!
-
Other cats: Farah isn't happy in a busy multi-cat household, although she has a lovely bond with our gentle neutered boy, Donny.

Farah's Perfect Home
-
A peaceful, loving, adult-only household.
-
Ideally an only cat, although one exceptionally gentle feline companion may be considered.
-
Someone patient who will allow her to settle at her own pace.
-
A safe, indoor home where she can relax and enjoy being someone's much-loved companion.
Farah's Health
Farah previously survived a life-threatening condition called intussusception, requiring emergency surgery to remove approximately six inches of her intestine.
Thankfully, she made a wonderful recovery. Little quirks: Since her surgery, Farah prefers not to have her hindquarters touched and will let you know if she's uncomfortable. We simply respect her boundaries.
-
Fully healed, with no impact on her everyday life.
-
No long-term medication required.
-
Neutered in January 2026 following her recovery.
-
Full genetic health testing documentation and medical history provided.
A Little Note From Our Hearts
When we made the decision to neuter Farah, our intention was to keep her here with us forever. However, despite our best efforts, we've come to realise that the busy multi-cat environment simply isn't where she's happiest.
We could keep her here, and she would always be loved, but we believe there's a quieter home out there where she could truly flourish.
We're not looking for just any home. We're looking for someone who will love Farah for exactly who she is.
There is absolutely no rush. Farah will remain safe, comfortable and very much loved here at Townhill until the perfect person comes along.
Sometimes, the greatest act of love is giving them the life they deserve, even when it means letting them go. 🖤
