registered Cat Breeder of the Year 2025

We are honoured to be named Cat Breeder of the Year 2025 at the Local Pet Awards.

This recognition reflects the love and consistency behind our Maine Coon breeding programme, including health testing, temperament, and responsible breeding practices.

We are grateful to have our work acknowledged and remain committed to maintaining the standards that matter most to us and to the breed.

💛 Sometimes breeding isn’t about finding new homes.
Sometimes, it’s about knowing when one is already home. 🐾
Not every kitten is meant to leave. From the moment Katniss could walk, she was drawn to my husband, and he to her. She watches him, follows him, and listens to him in a way she doesn’t with anyone else, and he understands her just as instinctively. Their connection has grown quietly and naturally, built on trust, recognition, and choice.
Breeding isn’t always about waiting lists or plans on paper. It’s about responsibility, ethics, and truly listening to what our cats show us.
Townhill Katniss Girl on Fire will be staying with us, exactly where she belongs. 🖤🔥

Promotional Video

We were invited to take part in a promotional campaign for a pet goods brand, with our cats starring in their video. It was an exciting opportunity to showcase their personalities and be part of a professional brand collaboration

TICA - Voluntary code of ethics

At Townhill Maine Coons we believe responsible breeding goes far beyond producing beautiful cats.

We proudly follow the TICA Voluntary Code of Ethics, which supports ethical breeding, responsible placement of kittens, and ongoing commitment to the wellbeing of the cats we produce.

These principles reflect the standards we follow every day as a breeder.

Responsible breeding is about protecting the future of the breed as much as it is about the kittens themselves.
